PID control is used to park a toy car between two objects. The distance measurement is done by using ultrasonic sensors.
The car is initially in on-off controller mode. When the button is pressed the car switches to PID mode. The green LED is turned on to indicate this.
In this project the advantages and disadvantages of PID control over on-off control can be observed.
